Pump Cat (Rare Cat)

Pumpcat is a Rare Cat that can be unlocked when beating any stage in All Hallows Road. True Form added in Version 11.9 grants Strong against Black enemies and Behemoth Slayer.

Normal Form

Very similar to Cat in terms of usage. Cheap and expendable, it can be summoned in masses to take hits in place of other, more important units. $ads={1} This meatshield role is quite valuable, if not for the wide selection of cats able to perform this role, usually with a lower cost. Pumpcat, however, can be used in 4-crown stages, where there is considerably less competition, although it is still not one of the best options due its slightly higher cost.

Evolved Form

Cat O'Lantern is unreliable as an anti-Black Cat. Not only does it have about 6 seconds between attacks and freeze for only 2~2.4 seconds, its freeze chance is low as well, which means a Cat O'Lantern take over 30 seconds just for one freeze. Its recharge time somewhat makes up for this by allowing you to create a stack, but then there comes another issue: single-target attacks. $ads={2} Most Black enemies come in groups, so on top of only freezing every once in a blue moon, only one enemy will be frozen at a time. Since Black enemies also tend to have many knockbacks, it might miss and be even less reliable. The icing on the cake is that most Legend Stages enemies are strong enough to kill even a level 50 Cat O'Lantern in one or two hits, destroying your entire stack.
